Show Point Award Program

Show Point Recognition

ISMHR will recognize and honor ALL show points, from ANYWHERE, that ISMHR equines participate in.


This program is open to all registered equines of the ISMHR. All you have to do is tabulate the points using our point system. But you have to send in the following to verify that your horse won those points.

- Show Name
- Showholder's Name
- Class Name
- Number of Entrants
- Horse's Placement

Point sheets can be emailed or sent to the New York address.

This is the number of entrants per class
11-19 = +1
20-29 = +2
30-39 = +3
40-49 = +4
50-59 = +5
60-69 = +6
70-79 = +7
80-89 = +8
90-99 = +9
100-299 = +10
300-999 = +15
1000+ = +20

Breeder Awards

Get do not have to be owned by the stallion owner (i.e., another member can use your stallion and show his offspring to a ROM, and that will count as one of the needed ROMs.) This rule applies to all Sire/Dam awards.

Superior Champion Sire
Any stallion with three or more get with ROMs.

Superior Champion Dam
Any dam with two or more get with ROMs.

Premier Champion Sire
Any stallion with a Superior Champion title with three or more get with LOMs.

Premier Champion Dam
Any dam with a Superior Champion title with two or more get with LOMs.

Supreme Champion Sire
Any stallion with a Premier Champion title with three or more get with Top Excellence Awards.

Supreme Champion Dam
Any dam with a Premier Champion title with three or more get with Top Excellence Awards.

Silver Medallion Sire
Any Supreme Champion Sire to sire a Premier Champion Sire or Dam.

Silver Medallion Dam
Any Supreme Champion Mare to produce a Premier Champion Sire or Dam.

Gold Medallion Sire
Any Silver Medallion Sire to sire a Supreme Champion Sire or Dam.

Gold Medallion Dam
Any Silver Medallion Dam to produce a Supreme Champion Sire or Dam.

Foundation Sire
Any Gold Medallion Sire to produce a Silver Champion Sire or Dam.

Foundation Mare
Any Gold Medallion Dam to produce a Silver Champion Sire or Dam.

Master Breeder
Any ISMHR member to win at least two Foundation titles.

Rating System

Shows are rated the following way:

Live Shows: 3x
Photo/Online Shows: 2x
ISMHR Shows: 3x
Year-End ISMHR Show: 4x

Accumulative Awards

Awards are offered by total points after the horse receives atleast a Top Excellance Award in both Halter and Performance divisions. Senior horses are horses that are age 4 and over. Junior horses are colts and fillies that are age 3 and under. If your horse is aging, the points that it has from the Junior division will carry over to the Senior.

HALL OF FAME

A horse has to achieve Foundation Sire/Dam and Foundation Champion to be named in the Hall of Fame. At that time, the horse must retire from showing with the ISMHR for a year.
